Gnome in Marigold Field
Tattoo design for client, they wanted a mexican gnome and marigolds as the central theme.
Client Request: "Would you be okay making a gnome for me? Maybe like a little dude poking their head out of a marigold? That might end up being a bit more detailed, so I don't mind going bigger. ... [Marigolds] are super important to people of Mexican culture. That's how our ancestors find their way to visit us on Dia de Los Muertos! ... [They symbolize] the afterlife rather than death, ancestory/family, and definitely travel"
